Job description

A US-based company that uses proprietary technology that leverages the power of modern AI and machine learning to foster creativity is looking for a Web Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for bringing designs to life and building interactive interfaces while integrating useful libraries. The company's unique technology provides users with AI-enabled musical help and allows them to express themselves more freely by removing creative barriers. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, modular, maintainable code
  • Follow and implement agile methodologies while creating products
  • Foster transparency, collaboration, and keep abreast of new technologies
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to create innovative solutions
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers while demonstrating pragmatism

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with React
  • 5+ years working with JavaScript and related technologies
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with CSS+HTML
  • 2+ years of experience building and working with responsive app/web development
  • Extensive experience working with Redux and GitHub
  • Demonstrable experience building consumer-focused PWA/SPA
  • Prolific experience with REST/RESTful APIs
  • Experience optimizing load and render times
  • Nice to have some general coding knowledge, including algorithms and design
  • Ability to implement designs in pixel-perfect conditions
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering familiarity is nice to have
  • Some knowledge of CI/CD and Agile development practices is desirable
  • Fluent in written and oral English communication
