Job description

A fast-growing company helping businesses and individual accounts by supporting multiple currencies, international payments, and investment accounts is looking for a Web App Developer. The selected candidate will be building fluidic layouts and implementing end-to-end web applications. The company aims to build a revolutionary digital bank to foster financial technology. It has managed to raise $15mn+ in funding so far.

Job Responsibilities:

Create a realistic user experience with a responsive UI for mobile and desktop
Collaborate with a group of incredibly skilled people to create a high-quality product
Create efficient web APIs for interacting with databases and third-party applications
Deliver a fully functional application that includes both front-end and back-end features and systems
Create modules and components, then connect them to form a working web application
Ensure that mobile and desktop performance is optimal
Create UIs that are pixel-perfect and silky smooth
Use animations and transitions that are clean, modern, and fluid to provide your users a great experience
Participate in the RESTful API development process with the back-end developer
Create integration and unit tests
Take complete ownership over assigned work

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 6-8+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
4+ years of professional experience working with Angular, NodeJS, and Typescript
Knowledge of cloud-hosted environments with the ability to deploy solutions in serverless infrastructure and containerized deployment methods is a must
Experience working with HTML, CSS, and SCSS (Bootstrap and Material UI) to build beautiful layouts
Knowledge and experience with JavaScript and related frameworks and libraries like jQuery
Experience building RESTful APIs using primarily NodeJS
Understanding of HTTP and various web communication protocols and methodologies
Knowledge of various NodeJS packages and libraries
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Must possess meaningful experience working on large and complex systems
Strong team player with a commitment to perfection
