Job description

A US-based platform that is pioneering the fintech industry by allowing users to send and receive money to anybody around the globe, is looking for a Typescript/React Native Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with making critical moves in the platform’s architecture. The company is developing a powerful platform that will pave the way for a more cost-effective and faster method of money transfer. During their Seed round, the company has raised more than $1mn. This role requires some overlap with the GMT time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with PMs & engineering professionals to deliver scalable solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Identify, troubleshoot bugs and optimize the platform for faster execution
  • Write clean, efficient, performant, and secure code to build web applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience working with TypeScript, React Native, Node.js, and React
  • Experience working with API’s
  • Some familiarity with JavaScript
  • Ability to solve complex challenges in your area of expertise 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
