Job description

A US-based company providing funding to real estate investors in the form of interim loans, renter loans, and mortgage finance options is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems. The company provides sophisticated technologies and timely funding to real estate investors to help them fund opportunities. This is a nice chance for developers who enjoy working with talented individuals on complex problems. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies using standardized software engineering processes for designing, developing, testing, etc.
  • Possess deep knowledge of your preferred codebase, product area, and/or systems
  • Develop quality codes that offer good test coverage and use modern abstractions/frameworks
  • Assist in completing medium/large scale projects utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Offer mentorship and keep junior software engineers and interns motivated to produce innovative solutions
  • Work closely with tech lead/manager and provide suggestions for future projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering role
  • Must be well-versed in technologies like React.js, Node.js, Python, JS, React Native, PHP, etc.
  • Expertise in computational problem solving, designing, coding, debugging, etc.
  • Should possess a strong grasp of working with complex code bases, large systems, and version control systems like Git
  • Must stay updated about emerging technologies and assist in designing roadmaps for enhancing current systems
  • Should possess experience in working on multi-platform support for OSs like Windows, iOS, Linux, Android, and Mac
  • Thorough understanding of algorithms, data structures, and space-time complexity
