Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software architects to determine design and technology choices for product development
  • Take ownership of delivering high-performant and scalable cloud-based software
  • Contribute in design, development, and implementation of efficient and reusable front-end systems and smooth UI for Android and iOS mobile apps
  • Deploy Android and iOS apps on Play Store and App store respectively
  • Find and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Explore alternative idea and new technologies to improve overall app development and performance experience
  • Write automated tests to maintain code in order to ensure product quality and scalability
  • Help with technical leadership and participate in determining the technical direction
  • Implement and maintain precise and accurate code documentation for future reference

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development and app development using React Native (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and React Native
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, document request model, and offline storage
  • Experience in Redux, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript ES6, and JSX
  • Sound knowledge of app UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Expertise with OOPs fundamentals, XML, JSON, and web services,
  • Proficient with native build tools like XCode and Gradle Android Studio
  • Ability to write well-documented, clean and scalable Java and JavaScript code
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
