Job description

A fast-emerging company building the best communication experience for the modern remote world and teams is looking for a Senior React Native Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating beautiful, impactful world-class software that enables millions of people to communicate better. The company aims at building a diverse, inclusive, equitable organization and has recently closed a seed round with two great firms. The candidate will join the team of engineers, product designers/owners, technologists and lead the React Native mobile application development. It is a full-time, long-term role that requires a time overlap with central US time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build, and maintain React Native applications with clean code
  • Build efficient and reusable libraries, components, and systems
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Identify and communicate best practices for engineering and mobile app development

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Deep understanding of React Native and its core principles
  • Experience with React, Electron, Java (backend), Storybook, and GCP
  • Proficiency with native build tools
  • Experience in optimizing mobile app performance for users
  • Good command of English with sound written and oral communication skills
