Job description

A U.S.-based company that is building a unique application that pays its users for shopping online or in-store, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be writing tests and taking part in code reviews to guarantee high-quality and maintainable codes. The company's cash-back rewards web and mobile app users, giving them real cash for everyday purchases when they shop. The company has successfully managed to secure $90mn+ during their Series D round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a highly talented cross-functional team for designing, developing, and delivering new products and features to be used by millions of shoppers
  • Stay updated with an evolving tech landscape for identifying the best tools and technologies
  • Utilize AWS cloud technologies for designing and building flexible, scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications
  • Utilize existing CI/CD pipeline to deploy code to production multiple times on a daily basis
  • Work closely on both - browser Extensions and other web products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field required
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in software development
  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented software design, development, and architectural principles
  • Thorough understanding of web app development best practices related to security, performance, optimization, responsiveness, etc.
  • Expert proficiency with JavaScript along with frameworks like React/Vue.js/Ember.js, CSS preprocessors like Sass/LESS, and module bundler tooling
  • Previous experience in working with server technologies like Node.js, Ruby, Java, etc.
  • Expertise in working with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redis important
  • Excellent understanding of testing approaches and frameworks, from unit testing to automated functional testing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
