Job description

An industry-leading cloud-native platform transforming the automotive retail industry is looking for a Senior Full-Stack, Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will provide technical expertise for every project lifecycle phase, from concept development to solution design, including execution and maintenance. The company specializes in creating elegant, intuitive solutions built with cutting-edge technology powered by Big Data, ML/AIoT, and several others. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring an overlap with IST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineer the workflow and work actively to develop the enterprise systems
  • Understand the user persona and deliver an amazing experience
  • Collaborate with business teams and architects to create technology specifications from the requirements 
  • Handle the technical design of the components within the module 
  • Drive the selection of technologies and designs to come up with the optimal architecture
  • Advocate for performance tuning, re-design, and refactoring for a module
  • Work on designing and implementing the build, release process, system configuration, and deployment characteristics of the application
  • Fine-tune and adopt the module components based on the open-source standards and best practices
  • Guide and mentor the team on technology concepts and best practices for design, implementation, and other processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack/front-end engineer
  • High-level proficiency in JavaScript (ReactJS / Redux) React Native, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and HTTP
  • Good knowledge of XML, JSON, DOM, and W3C standards
  • Proficient in articulating the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack, component, or design patterns 
  • Strong sense of ownership with an attitude for work delivery
  • Good understanding of basic Rest principles
  • Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA
  • Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
  • Experience working with Git and in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
