Job description

A customer-first platform that unifies the flow of life-saving information to emergency call centers is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the life-saving platform. The company has partnered with Google, Cisco, Amazon, and Microsoft to deliver life-saving technologies while providing services to over 400mn people in more than eight countries around the world. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to join a mission-driven team with a strong set of values to make contributions that will go far and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:

Contribute to several areas of agile software development, including designing, implementation, and deployment of features
Build and assist in producing end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
Take charge of designing software system architectures and data structures
Develop and configure scalable web services, applications, and APIs
Build and maintain internal software tools
Identify bottlenecks and debug to improve performance
Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
Must have experience in developing advanced web applications
Ability to utilize Java or Scala for back-end development processes
Familiarity with AWS development tools is preferred
A thorough understanding of building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Ability to code microservices-based cloud solutions will be helpful
Knowledge of WebSockets will be an added advantage
Have a can-do attitude and strong people skills
