Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company developing one of the largest e-commerce marketplaces in the world is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be responsible for improving the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s large software system. By offering a personalized and enjoyable experience, the company is redefining how customers purchase and how businesses sell a vast variety of affordable products. The company has managed to raise more than $1.2bn during their Series H round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the project's requirements during the V1 launch and subsequent V2 iteration
Create sophisticated software that integrates with numerous external systems
Optimize for immediate action while making technical capacity plans for the long-term future
Integrate and maintain APIs for a variety of external services
Create distributed, highly available systems
Mentor and guide the junior developers on the team

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a backend developer
4+ years of experience working with Python
At least 3+ years of experience with Go/Golang, AWS, Hadoop, and MongoDB
2+ years of experience working with GraphQL
Nice to have some experience with React, Typescript, and Java
Excellent English communication skills
