Job description

A Silicon Valley-backed company providing access to innovative tools, guidance, and capital for founders to turn their cutting-edge ideas into successful businesses is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will join the team and participate in the design and creation of scalable software. The company offers its platform for early-stage founders to validate their ideas, build an MVP, and achieve product-market fit. Job Responsibilities:

  • Write high-quality, functional code on the front and back-end
  • Manage the full software development life cycle, from conception to delivery
  • Maintain and upgrade the software deployment 
  • Oversee testing and provide feedback to management during the development procedure

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in architecting and deploying server-side APIs and back-end applications
  • Extensive experience in Python, Ruby, Java, or other object-oriented languages
  • Hands-on experience with associated standard libraries and frameworks
  • Expert with common design and architectural patterns like model–view–controller (MVC) and Representational State Transfer (REST)
  • Prolific experience in SaaS concepts and architectural designs
  • Proficiency with event-based architectures
  • Demonstrable experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar web framework
  • Proficiency with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure and design
  • Working experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) 
  • Workable experience in database design and access in cloud environment
  • Proficiency with modern software version control within teams (Git and GitHub preferred)
  • Proficiency in UI/UX and design
  • Solid understanding of SaaS implementations
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
  • Comprehensive understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
  • Passion for testing, debugging, and overall code quality
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
