Job description

A fast-growing SaaS platform providing plug and play, pay-as-you-go, highly secure, studio-in-the-cloud for the film design-intensive industries like post-production, movies, TVs, etc., is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working with an experienced and talented team, one driven by excellence and innovation. The company enables collaborative teams in film and TV, virtual production, visual effects, and production houses to build and manage their own creative cloud facilities. This will be a full-time role which can lead to exciting opportunities for developers to work on some engaging technology. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a world-class suite of tools to integrate and manage virtual workstations, fleets, render farms, storage clusters, and more. 
  • Utilize necessary tools via APIs that offer support for rapid development of front-end features
  • Build front end tools using React, with a focus on usability and design 
  • Design and write tested codes and continuously improve them
  • Partake in peer review and brainstorming sessions
  • Stay updated about the latest software development technologies and methodologies. 
  • Utilize DevOps and work with platforms such as AWS or GCP 
  • Look into recruitment tasks like CV reviews, interviews, reviewing technical ability and cultural fit

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Full Stack developer
  • Well versed in using Ruby and Rails experience with the expertise of OOP principles 
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6), AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, Chef/Salt
  • The expertise of working with Python 
  • An urge to master additional languages, paradigms, and skills 
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate with efficiency
