Job description

An emerging startup active in the poker entertainment industry is looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for overseeing the development of the gambling web and mobile software applications. The successful candidate will be a seasoned developer with extensive knowledge and experience in designing and building cloud-based, highly scalable, and dependable application systems using Node and cloud-based architecture and technologies. The selected developer will work closely with engineering team members and management to design and deliver gaming applications. This is a full-time role and a great chance for those who would like to leverage emerging, innovative technologies and approaches to building high-value software.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in the capacity of leader or manager as the product and team expands
  • Work with business owners and engineering teams to support the organization’s web and mobile applications for thousands of users
  • Gather requirements, design, test, and document complex technical software solutions
  • Guide the development life cycle of full-stack solutions and oversee continuous delivery framework improvements
  • Manage software development and data management efforts
  • Drive high engineering standards on the team through code reviews, automated testing, and mentoring

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development 
  • Strong information development, testing, and AWS technical skills
  • A broad background in web and/or mobile development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web front-end and back-end development tools, technologies, practices, and standards 
  • Proven ability to integrate scalable systems
  • Track record of delivering high-quality solutions
  • Have a natural curiosity to learn new technologies
  • Experience building distributed, high-volume systems that handle millions of transactions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have knowledge of React, Node, MongoDB, and AWS
  • Proficiency in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, OIDC, and Git
  • Demonstrable skills in AWS full-stack development is a plus
  • Sound payment processing experience and understanding of cryptocurrency transactions is an advantage
  • Expertise in ID verification integration, CICD processes, and management is nice to have
