Job description

A US-based company providing incredible post-purchase experiences that help brands accelerate their growth is looking for a Senior Engineer/Tech Lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for building the technical systems and products that the business will need to scale and grow quickly. The company is a client channels team that builds appliances to enable businesses to execute client operations with marketplace applications. The company has managed to secure funding worth more than $20 mn during their Series A round. This will be a long-term role with management growth opportunities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be an internal liaison between the company and the development team
  • Create and iterate on systems and products 
  • Build collaborative relationships with the leadership team 
  • Leverage best-in-class engineering processes and techniques to enable the engineering team to deliver high-quality work 
  • Document activities and come up with creative new ideas on how to meet team goals 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years writing enterprise systems in an object-oriented programing language
  • Excellent command over Python and related technologies
  • Ability to articulate and explain technical restrictions to non-technical members of the team and explain various tradeoffs of proposed solutions
  • Great collaboration and communication skills, along with excellent attention to detail
  • Architecture and leadership management organizational skills
