The engineer will be joining the existing team and ensuring that the company's products are highly resilient, low latency, and scalable to massive volume. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide premium, first-class customer experience
  • Work hand-in-glove with the Product Managers to design, build, deliver, and run the company operated gaming platforms and products
  • Play a critical role in developing and upgrading the company’s core product
  • Design everything with future requirements in mind
  • Deliver great solutions that are proven to meet the needs of the Product Managers, Product Designers, Support, and Operations
  • Be accountable for testing and the overall quality of the output 
  • Ensure testing happens fast, frequently, and effectively 
  • Guarantee that everything works as expected and proactively look for problems to solve
  • Document everything and ensure that the company possesses up-to-date technical and use case documentation 
  • Mentor, coach, support, and help onboard and train the less experienced members of the team 
  • Collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams and users to identify ways to improve and build upon the capabilities of the platform 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 5+ years of experience in production software engineering and delivery
  • 3+ years working on distributed, high-volume transactional systems 
  • Demonstrable experience with C#, SQL Server, REST, and Git
  • Nice to have some familiarity with .NetCore 
  • At least 2+ years working with messaging technologies like Kafka
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud-based implementations like Azure
  • Prolific experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL technologies
  • Nice to have prior experience with containerization technology
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and quickly learn new skills
  • An eye for detail and problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Proficient experience working with remote teams 
  • Nice to have some experience working in a hyper-growth startup
  • Strong understanding of the modern architectural and engineering practices
  • Possess a passion for automation and producing thoroughly tested and high-quality services
