Job description

A US-based company that aims to revolutionize the women's healthcare system to suit the needs of modern women, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building, developing, managing, and executing projects efficiently with sound problem-solving skills. The trailblazing company believes in collaborative, relationship-based care where everyone is in-sync. The company has securely raised more than $130mn in funding during their Series B round. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build architecture for software development projects in the pipeline
  • Assist in implementing, releasing, and supporting features that enable the existing collaborative care model  
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to define technical solutions based on product requirements 
  • Develop solutions capable of driving positive impact for existing customers and businesses
  • Adopt a problem-solving mindset resolve complex situations with ease 
  • Develop user-centric designs and high-quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Thorough knowledge of working with React, Node, and relational database 
  • Experience building modular software that elegantly separates concerns
  • Knowledge of designing uniform, stateless RESTful APIs that are pragmatic and intuitive
  • Should be able to utilize technologies like SQL, design schemas, and execute intermediate-level queries is required
  • Professional experience in working with Javascript, Ruby, or Python is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-oriented agile development environment for shipping software that addresses business requirements
  • Must work with a problem-solving mindset and possess deep troubleshooting knowledge
  • Collaborate with different team members to define strategies and develop applications
