Job description

A fast-growing company building an affluent social shopping platform and network is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with cross-platform teams to ensure quick integration and development of projects. The social commerce platform connects professional sellers and consumers to entertain, interact, and conduct business in haute couture. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working with cutting-edge technology to build relevant solutions. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Build the full custom microservice-based back-end architecture
  • Work on and maintain the API that powers all aspects of the apps
  • Exhibit leadership by example through hands-on coding, code reviews, and sprint planning

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with C#, .NET, and Microservice
  • Some knowledge of .NET Core and demonstrable GRPC experience
  • Prior experience using SCRUM
  • Ability to work without being micromanaged
