Job description

A fast-growing tech-enabled platform that is helping fintech lenders and banks to make revolutionary changes in the industry, is looking for a Python Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing the architecture, reviewing the code, building the technology, and deploying web/mobile applications. With an end-to-end platform, the company's innovative technology allows users to streamline debt resolution processes. They have managed to raise more than $28mn during their Series A round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of entire product development processes from scratch
  • Built and configure low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Contribute to the discussion on software architecture and mentor a team of developers
  • Assist in conducting code reviews, design reviews, SCRUM ceremonies, and troubleshooting to ensure uptime for live systems, and more

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Python developer
  • Must possess experience in back-end development processes using Python or Golang in a start-up or a dynamic work environment
  • Deep understanding of writing and optimizing SQL for high-performance systems
  • Must be well-versed in with asyncio and event loop/uvloop concepts
  • Ability to utilize frameworks like Quart/Fastapi/Starlette is preferred
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of working on AWS, Redis, Memcache, ELK, MySQL databases, and more
  • Well-versed with System Design, Microservice Architecture, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Message queues, and in-memory data stores
  • Must be able to work with a customer-oriented approach while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
