Python Developer

A US-based company that uses modern big data technologies to bring industrial process data into the business decision process is looking for a Python Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for dev infrastructures like dev tooling and test performance. The company’s executive team and board of directors have extensive experience with successful startup ventures in high-growth environments. They have managed to raise more than $110mn in funding during their Series C round. This will be a full-time position requiring 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Migrate from Github to bitbucket - using tool called Mergebot
• Work with and build reliability and CI/CD pipelines
• Use agile tenets to iterate on both the product and development processes
• Help build software and services that convert data into meaningful information that the business can use to improve profitability
• Write up proposals and give feedback

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Extensive experience working with Python
• Familiarity with Git and Continuous integration
• Some experience with JVM, .NET, and Teamcity
• Must possess high attention to detail
