Job description

A fast-paced company that has developed an all-inclusive platform for their client’s exporting needs is looking for a Python Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing user authentication and authorization across several servers, platforms, and settings. The company's technology streamlines and accelerates the process of worldwide development by adapting the current online stores and listings to the demands of the local market. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the IST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver trustworthy solutions with full accountability for the flawless execution of your modules and solutions, and place a strong emphasis on code optimization, code quality, and maintainability
  • Coding and testing, creating prototypes, resolving problems, identifying and analyzing bottlenecks
  • Create and maintain dependable APIs and cloud platforms to accommodate large numbers of mobile and desktop clients
  • Create automated tests to make sure business requirements are satisfied and to enable regression testing
  • Active involvement across the whole program lifetime with an emphasis on developing, debugging, and ongoing improvement
  • Creating effective web apps with clean code
  • Establishing user authentication and authorization across many settings, servers, and systems
  • To integrate user-facing aspects, work with front-end developers, designers, and system administrators

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and Django
  • Knowledge of REST/RESTful APIs is nice to have
  • Skilled in data structures, algorithms, modularization, OOP, microservices, and design patterns
  • Knowledge of all best practices, industry standards, and existing open-source tools backed by the community
  • Self-starter, proactive hustler with the ability to navigate independently and actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Extremely detail-oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with the ability to propose innovative solutions to problems at hand
  • Proficiency in English
