Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating an autonomous platform that was built by MIT to find novel patterns, come up with explanations, and build contextual models, is looking for a .NET Developer. The developer will be working on a web application that helps in the analysis of both the stocks and financial portfolios of users. The company has made a name for itself as the top Cloud-Native risk analytics experts, and they are utilizing AI to give investors unexpected insights into risk-adjusted opportunities. The company has managed to secure $1.8mn+ in funding so far. This will be a part-time position requiring significant overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior developers to comprehend the needs of the program and to add to the design and architecture of the application
  • Write code that is clear, effective, and easy to maintain by adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and to give team members enlightening criticism
  • Debug software components through unit testing to find and correct bugs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience working with .NET Core, HTML, and C#
  • Some understanding of MVC, Git, and ASP.NET is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and D3 visual coding is desirable
  • Excellent written and conversational English communication skills
