Job description

A fast-growing company that is utilizing state-of-the-art technology to help businesses digitize, democratize, and optimize their supply chain, is looking for a .NET Developer. The developer will be responsible for writing clean, secure, maintainable, scalable, and modular code. The company is providing consulting and technology solutions that cater to the needs of importers and exporters. This will be a full-time long-term position requiring 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC, convert legacy (VB, ASP) apps to the most recent.NET applications
Create excellent code that is focused on attracting clients to the business through digital supply chain solutions
Use VB,.NET, and ASP to maintain current software applications that can support all of the usual corporate procedures
Examine and record the technical specifications for software programs

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Prolific experience working with .NET and related technologies like C#, ASP.NET, and MVC
Demonstrable experience with RESTful APIs, SQL, and MS SQL including Stored Procedures
Prior experience with Node.js, React.js, Python, and AWS Cloud
Knowledge of integration with API and EDI technologies
Extensive experience working with jQuery and JavaScript
In-depth knowledge of legacy technologies like VB and ASP
Familiarity with version control systems like SVN
Nice to have some prior experience in the logistics industry
Ability to quickly solve problems in a dynamic environment
Experience in deployment and communication skills
Fluent in conversational and written English
