Job description

A fast-growing company that specializes in building a MacOS security agent with a strong network stack is looking for a MacOS Engineer. The engineer will demonstrate solid technical expertise and provide support primarily for Macintosh systems and Apple products. The ideal candidate will have extensive independent software development skills and a good understanding of MacOS, particularly with systems extensions. This will be a great opportunity for the selected candidate to work as a key contributor to develop high-value software solutions at scale.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify ways to improve the systems and infrastructure
  • Engineer, deploy and support Mac operating systems and applications
  • Provide thought leadership on improving processes for providing a better user experience for Mac
  • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the technical direction of the product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of MacOs environment like system extensions 
  • Familiarity with Network Extensions and Endpoint Security
  • Prior experience building a VPN agent is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience leveraging RUST libraries in MacOS native 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
