Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has developed an innovative DNA synthesis platform to commercialize biological engineering is looking for a Lead Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and leading complicated technical projects while interacting with cross-functional teams. The company specializes in synthesizing genes from scratch and revolutionizing the development of the genomics industry. So far, the company has managed to successfully secure more than $500 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers to elaborate user-friendly and intuitive web applications for eCommerce systems
  • Participate in ascertaining technical specification, and design and development of the company’s user-facing features
  • Develop, test and deploy code through the entire software development lifecycle
  • Promote software engineering best practices via through development of tools and define documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in React and Python 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
