Job description

A VC-backed Fintech company enabling next-gen businesses to bridge the crypto gap and make financial transactions faster, cheaper, and more transparent is looking for a Lead Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be working on optimizing the platform for fast and efficient execution while resolving scalability problems. The company's cutting-edge technology is assisting in the redistribution of wealth from the physical to the digital economy. The company has managed to secure more than $7mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create an on/off-ramp experience for stablecoins
  • Combat fraud and customer onboarding friction
  • Decrease fiat funds processing friction and risk
  • Increase blockchain protocol support and security
  • Influence Web3 businesses to use the products to help their end-users
  • Work towards maintaining coding standards and code quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Prior production software experience with web and mobile applications
  • Extensive experience working with Golang, Typescript, ReactJS, and Swift is preferred
  • Ability to exercise technical and product judgment in solving bottlenecks 
  • Plan efficiently with others, both synchronously and asynchronously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate, share ideas, and present concepts effectively
  • Enjoy fast-paced environments and constantly seek to improve work with low supervision
  • Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
