Job description

A US-based company that has developed a commerce platform helping to boost user engagement and growth is looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating perfectly functioning mobile applications as well as troubleshooting and debugging the software to improve effectiveness. The company has helped more than 1000 publishers to monetize their business including names like CNN, Yahoo, and NY Post, to name a few. The company has successfully raised close to $800K in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enforce best practices for mobile development and automated testing
  • Effectively communicate progress on projects to key stakeholders
  • Lead sprint estimation efforts and track development progress and quality
  • Contribute to the team building by identifying resource requirements, skill sets, sourcing candidates, and conducting technical interviews
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications as well as troubleshooting and debugging software to optimize performance
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and team goals while ensuring an open/collaborative culture for the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Swift
  • Track record of building, testing, deploying APIs and integrating with multiple 3rd party APIs
  • Proficiency in English
