Job description

A U.S.-based investment platform that allows users to invest in top private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds is looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for architecting and building the website together with the team. The company has raised over $5mn in Seed funding through the backing of top industry professionals as well as VC investors and a number of prominent angels. The selected candidate will work with a highly collaborative effort to develop an elegant, frictionless, and enjoyable app experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend technical requirements and decompose them into workable tasks
  • Analyze problems and implement solutions balancing architectural, usability, performance, reliability, scalability, and time-to-market considerations
  • Assist the software delivery lifecycle, including design, implementation, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, release, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with a variety of disciplines such as account, product, analytics, and QA teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Extensive experience using HTML, JavaScript, and React
  • Nice to have experience in QA
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
