Job description

A fast-growing company that is determined to revolutionize the future of decentralized data with their state-of-the-art solutions, is looking for an expert Kubernetes Engineer. The engineer will be participating in the design and creation of scalable software. The company is developing a data-mesh-native toolkit that enables organizations to make the experience of generating, sharing, discovering, and consuming data connected, quick, and fair in order to address the challenge of decentralizing data at scale. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy working with leadership to provide users with a fast and delightful experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Spend a few hours partnering with the existing engineers to set up the scaffolding needed to construct a Kubernetes operator for the platform
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop software and solutions
  • Enhance the design and advise on the architecture of the proprietary platform 
  • Stay up to date on all current and next-generation technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Kubernetes, Kubernetes APIs, and related technologies
  • Prior experience developing controllers to manage Kubernetes objects
  • Demonstrable experience developing Kubernetes operators using operator SDKs
  • Ability to manage traffic, load balancing, observability, and security utilizing Service Mesh
  • Understanding of infrastructure-as-code management tools
  • Working knowledge of a variety of cloud-specific Kubernetes services, like Amazon EKS, Google Kubernetes Engine, or Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Excellent English communication skills, both conversational and written
