Job description

A fast-growing company that actively trades in a wide range of asset types, such as stocks, interest rates, and commodities, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for converting client actions into activities required by the counter-party system. The company is highly analytical and team-oriented, with a dynamic, disciplined approach to trading across a wide range of products and techniques. Job Responsibilities:

  • Increase the size of the external utility team
  • Using the API given by an external Order Management System supplier to integrate
  • Ability to write in a test-driven approach and work within an Agile-type sprint framework
  • Provide an API to clients to take actions that will be logged in a database and then transformed into actions that will be performed on the target end where an API from an external counterparty is available
  • Managing the internal state of orders that trade in financial markets, in particular

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of financial services
  • Experience in Python and OMSes
  • Knowledge of NumPy/Pandas is a plus
  • Good English communication skills
