Infrastructure Engineer

An industry-leading streaming platform offering OTT contents is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building a highly efficient platform and will work on utilizing modern techniques and practices to enable continuous delivery. The company is a content partner of many renowned global brands. It has raised over $226mn in funding so far and has a reach of over 300 million users. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable code together with testing frameworks for the Infrastructure
• Build tools and frameworks to allow engineers to provision infrastructure and manage access controls
• Design efficient solutions for cloud security, secrets management, and key rotations
• Create a centralized platform to enable logging and metrics  
• Take on new infrastructure requirements and develop the infrastructure code
• Work with service teams to help them onboard the container platform
• Drive enhancements in the platform to handle millions of requests concurrently
• Build solutions to reduce Mean Time To Recovery(MTTR), enable High Availability and Disaster Recovery

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Strong expertise in automating Infrastructure provisioning
• Proficient with configuration using tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform, and Docker
• Expertise in managing large scale Cloud infrastructure, preferable AWS, and Kubernetes
• Experience in developing applications using programming languages like Java, Python, and Ruby
• Experience in handling logs and metrics at a high scale 
• Systematic problem-solving approach and drive  
• Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
