Job description

A fast-growing company developing an innovative electronic monitoring service by tapping into powerful AI, ML, and computer vision technologies is looking for a Full-Stack Infrastructure Engineer. The engineer will be reporting and collaborating with a senior project manager during the early stages but will have a large level of autonomy for most projects. The company provides advanced AI-powered data analysis and data management services. This position requires some overlap with the CDT time zone and can lead to long-term opportunities. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of building a full-stack infrastructure from the ground up
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and help build the models and package them using Docker
  • Come up with DevOps procedures while making collaboration as efficient as possible
  • Work efficiently without requiring much hand-holding

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific experience working with AWS/Azure, Django, Python, and Unix/Linux
  • Experience with serverless application deployment and Batch processing
  • Strong experience deploying applications on the back-end
  • Familiarity with technology offerings, virtual machine types, data lifecycle management, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, development, and deployment
  • Nice to have some front-end experience
  • Basic understanding of computer vision algorithms and related hardware/software like GPU, CUDA, PyTorch, etc.
  • Some knowledge of best practices for DevOps and CI/CD
  • Prior experience working with computer vision and deep learning
  • Experience with Machine Learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow is desirable
  • Experience interacting with clients and creating design specifications is nice to have
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
