Job description

A fast-growing company leveraging technology to offer customers a personalized carbon emissions calculator is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will spearhead iterations and the development growth for the organization's upcoming projects. The company’s innovative solutions are enabling customers to subscribe to monthly offsetting with vetted global environmental projects. This is a great opportunity for developers who are eager to work on challenging projects that have a tangible impact on the world. 


Job Responsibilities:


  • Understand requirements, develop solutions, and deliver functionality
  • Write automated tests in close collaboration with the team's product owner
  • Help with scaling the engineering processes to boost speed and promote success
  • Create pipelines for continuous delivery that include deployment, monitoring, and production support for these systems
  • Help the team to improve their architecture so that it is faster to deliver products


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience working with React.js, JavaScript, and Next.js
  • Demonstrable experience with JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Docker
  • Solid understanding of Passport: user management (user logging in/out, etc.)
  • Prior experience with TailwindCSS and TypeScript are desirable
  • Nice to have some familiarity with Sequelize, Elastic Beanstock, S3, and TypeScript
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
