Job description

An NYSE-listed company revolutionizing the future of real estate and the mortgage industry is looking for an Elastic Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for solving difficult problems, such as performance or multi-threading issues, and suggesting new solutions. The company is driven by technology and influenced to convey new and creative ways to transact and mitigate risk. It has managed to successfully raise more than $500 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to create custom Elasticsearch analyzers, tokenizers, and tailored field mappings
  • Write scalable and effective code that complies with industry standards
  • Contribute to configuring Elasticsearch instance and Kibana dashboard
  • Understand and contribute to surrounding layers such as replication and search
  • Solve complex issues, including performance or concurrency issues, and propose new solutions
  • Support the long term technical strategy and other core dependencies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Elastic REST API
  • Familiarity with Elastic NEST Client/Java Client v7+
  • Advanced scripting (Painless language) knowledge is a must
  • Must have experience with Hot/Warm/Cold/Frozen architecture
  • Knowledge of Analyzers, tokenizers, and custom field mappings
  • Experience in Kibana DSL and Query optimization/debugging
  • Knowledge of C# .NET Core/Java and Complex Aggregation queries
  • Proficiency in English
