Job description

A US-based mortgage closing platform that is delivering a seamless closing experience is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer. The selected candidate will play an integral part in the team that will identify, evaluate, and build the metrics suite. The company is on a quest to improve the real estate closing process to assist lenders in completing loans more swiftly. It has managed to secure $250 mn+ in funding during its Series D round. Candidates who join the team will communicate effectively and work with stakeholders to deliver on requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead report and dashboard generation projects with stakeholders
  • Fulfill customer (internal) requests for Dashboard/Report creation and management
  • Assist in planning, development, and ongoing maintenance of data lake, data warehouse, and data marts
  • Assist in the data dictionary library creation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years experience with business intelligence platforms, Data Warehouses, Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake
  • Advanced level knowledge of SQL and BI tools like Looker, Chartio, Tableau, Sisense, etc.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques
  • Expert-level knowledge of business analysis and data visualization techniques
  • Prior experience working with Python and R is nice to have
  • Solid background and understanding of statistical analysis is desirable
