Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is utilizing the advancements in modern AI technology to help businesses progress with their clean energy management solutions is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for using a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application. With the help of the company's market-leading software solutions, businesses can boost the lifetime value of their clean energy assets. The company has secured more than $580mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the engineering, product, and design teams to develop, test, and deliver applications and services for the AI-based Athena platform
  • Create and maintain an excellent, transformative search experience for the company’s platform
  • Develop innovative products for the company by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze, test, and fix platform bottlenecks 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and microservices
  • Experience using modern technology stacks like Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD
  • Extensive experience using Python
  • Demonstrable experience with Machine Learning algorithms
  • Experience using agile methodologies
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in creating cloud or enterprise software
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery toolchains
  • Demonstrable experience with secure software development patterns
  • Experience programming backend services in Python, Java, and C++
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL
  • Experience with developing service-oriented or microservice architectures
  • Experience with the AWS Cloud Data Services (Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, Athena)
  • Knowledge of containerized Docker apps and deployment orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
