Job description

A US-based company that helps small to medium-sized companies in terms of accounting software solutions is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding the requirements and building the delivery pipelines. The company consists of industry experts utilizing deep and broad knowledge in the veterinary and dental markets to design, build, and support innovative software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to advance their careers. It requires an overlap with the EDT timezone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to write automation tests, understand requirements, build solutions, deliver functionality, and build continuous delivery pipelines
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals to meet product requirements and build innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must have experience with SQL, including complex joins, query performance, triggers, views
  • Familiarity with large data solutions is required
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodology and tooling is a must
  • Must be experienced with Azure, AWS, and other cloud services
  • Must be familiar with back-end languages such as C++, C#, Go, Ruby, and Elixir
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Bootstrap, ReactJS, and Redux is nice to have
  • Experience in dental, logistics, hospitality or other vertical markets is preferred
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
