Job description

A US-based company on a critical mission to serve more healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, and patients across the nation is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building efficient and reusable systems that drive complex web and mobile applications. During their Seed round of funding, the company raised more than $100K. This is a great chance for developers to contribute their skills for a relevant cause and make a real impact in the world. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable and high-performance code on both the front-end and back-end
  • Understand complex technical areas along the way
  • Create solid, dependable, and user-friendly software features for both internal teams and our client base
  • Execute the entire software development lifecycle, including problem description, design, development, testing, demoing, and ensuring the features are used in production
  • Balance short-term business goals with a long-term architectural vision

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience with REST/RESTful APIs, Docker, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Nice to have some prior experience in developing REST APIs, mobile and web apps that interface with said APIs on AWS
  • Ability to create efficient and bug-free codes that meet customer requirements 
  • Fluency in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
