Job description

A US-based company that specializes in conducting events and providing a variety of managed services to help broadcast content to live audiences, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building stable, high-performing services to help elevate the user experience. The company's specialized resources effortlessly handle all types of virtual events and services, including live event support, speaker training, simulated lives, and studio production. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires some overlap with the Israel time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality results by leading and contributing to cross-functional projects 
  • Own back-end-specific services and share development best practices
  • Understand business requirements and build solutions for future scaling 
  • Identify and fix performance issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable skills with Node.js, TypeScript, Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS
  • Prolific experience working with EC2, DynamoDB, and MongoDB
  • Nice to have some experience with Test Driven Development
  • Prior experience with video products like GStreamer, FFMpeg, and NGINX is desirable
  • Fluent in oral and written English communication
  • Excellent collaboration and management skills
