Job description

An advanced digital asset trading platform quickly making its mark in the FinTech space is looking to hire a Back-End Developer. The developer will be diving into the front-end, back-end, or datastore as needed and will build an open financial system that expands the company’s product to the next level. The company is backed by the world’s best investors and has so far been able to secure funding worth more than $325 mn during the Series C round. They are redefining prime brokerage by helping businesses to make data-driven decisions. This will be a nice opportunity for developers to collaborate on innovative solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth execution and outcome of mission-critical tasks
  • Fix bugs and provide feedback on coding related problems 
  • Work on the design and timely delivery of the features 
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Implement security and data protection practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience 
  • Solid expertise to work with production scale web applications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience writing production code in Python and Flask
  • 1+ year(s) of working experience in an AWS environment, along with production experience in React, HTML5, CSS3, or jQuery
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux, Grpc, Protobuf, Tensorflow, and dash for data analytics
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures
  • Familiarity with modern industry technical methodologies and capable of operating in dynamic environments
  • A plus if you have experience with Docker-based applications in cloud infra 
  • Prior security and ML experience with Tensorflow, MLlib, H2O, etc., is nice to have
