Skills required to become a Mobile Tech Lead

The first level is to acquire the essential abilities required to land a high-paying Mobile Tech Lead job. Let's go through what you should be aware of.

1. Kotlin

Kotlin, like JAVA, is an official Android programming language. It features both object-oriented and functional characteristics, making it perfect for functional programming. Furthermore, Kotlin is more succinct and expressive than Java. It may be used for server-side, client-side, or Android programming. Furthermore, its null-safe architecture contributes to increased efficiency and code safety.

2. Java

All Android applications are written in Java, an object-oriented programming language. Because it is data-type sensitive, developers must exercise caution when allocating RAM resources or describing the data types necessary for their applications. Java provides precise code that describes the function of each component of your program, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

3. Swift

Swift is an Apple-developed multi-paradigm compiled programming language that is mostly used for iOS development. This current programming language is up to date on a regular basis and is simple to learn. It has a number of features, including the ability to simplify common patterns, generics, and type interfaces, allowing for a high degree of involvement in development. The language is also quick and safe, thus being a great in a Mobile Tech Lead job necessitates a thorough grasp of Swift and its key ideas.

4. Flutter

Flutter is a free and open-source mobile UI framework developed by Google and launched in May 2017. In a nutshell, it enables you to construct a native mobile application using only one codebase. This implies that you may utilize the same programming language and codebase to develop two distinct apps (for iOS and Android).
Flutter is made up of two key components:

  • An SDK (Software Development Kit) is a collection of tools that will assist you in the development of your apps. This provides tools for compiling your code into native machine code (code for iOS and Android).
  • A Framework (UI Library based on widgets): A collection of reusable UI components (buttons, text inputs, sliders, and so on) that you may modify for your own needs.

5. Android SDK

SDK, or Software Development Kit, is a collection of pre-packaged code or Java code modules that provide developers with access to mobile device functionalities such as the camera and accelerometer. Gradle is a library, and it is the most significant component of the Android SDK. Gradle keeps your code well organized when you link a social networking platform to your project. SDKs give a plethora of modules for Android developers to employ while developing an Android application. Experience with API development platforms, cross-platform app development frameworks, and responsive design for mobile web apps, in addition to Android and iOS mobile development platforms, is preferred.

6. JavaScript

JavaScript is a text-based programming language that allows you to make web pages interactive on both the client-side and the server-side. Whereas HTML and CSS provide structure and design to online pages, JavaScript adds interactive aspects to web sites that interest users. A search box on Amazon, a news recap video posted on The New York Times, or refreshing your Twitter feed are all instances of JavaScript that you may encounter on a daily basis.

7. XML

XML is a structured markup language that was created as a standard technique of encoding data for mobile apps. In a nutshell, it allows information to be exchanged across devices in a consistent and intelligible manner. Android developers utilize XML to construct layouts, which serve as the core UI specification for Android applications. This is why understanding the principles of XML is an essential skill for Android developers.
