Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams and project owners to understand business needs and success criteria
  • Assist in the design and development of KPI scorecards, dashboards, and visual reports using BI tools
  • Build analytical models to help the management and leadership team to make insightful, data-driven decisions
  • Include DAX queries and functions in Power BI to create calculated columns, measures, and custom tables
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring new BI solutions in accordance with operational and business requirements
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements for existing BI solutions
  • Integrate BI solutions in different software products within the organization to enhance data consistency

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Power BI development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Extensive experience working with multiple business intelligence tools, like Power BI, SAP, or Tableau
  • Hands-on expertise in creating and administering analytical dashboards and interactive visual reports
  • Strong command over SQL, ETL framework, database management systems, and online analytical processing (OLAP)
  • Solid understanding of data analytics, data warehouse design, and data mining
  • Familiar with one high-level programming language, such as R or Python
  • Proficient in using tools like SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Who You Might Be:

  • Minimum 5+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.

About the Role
We are looking for an Android Engineer to help us grow internationally  through translations and guest experiences. You will contribute to the  full development cycle, including technical design, development,  testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You will be responsible  for managing your task list pipeline as well as communicating your  progress throughout the task life cycle. You will be aiding the  development, maintenance, and support of our platform's Android features
