Job responsibilities

  • Participate in writing high-quality, scalable, and clean code
  • Assist the team with technical specifications and unit test cases development
  • Take ownership of performing unit testing activities for the better performance

  • Make sure to help the team in on-time and top-quality software project delivery
  • Motivate the team members to follow the latest technology standards and SDLC best practices
  • Contribute to building, maintaining, and improving new and existing web pages, websites, and applications

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Stronghold on system and requirement analysis

  • Extensive expertise in popular languages like Java, C#, C++, SQL, VB.Net, etc.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Java, .NET programming, and web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, EJB, Spring, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Exceptional skills in frameworks, like Spring MVC, .NET MVC, Hibernate, Angular, etc.
  • Experience in implementing SDLC methodologies, data migration, and automation testing
  • Exposure to web services, including SOAP and REST
  • Prolific experience in using tools, including Eclipse, Visual Studio, SVN, Git, GitHub, RabbitMQ, etc.
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Ability to maintain clean and detailed documentation
  • Familiar with servers, like Apache, Tomcat, Glassfish, Xampp, Wamp, etc.
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile development principles
