Job responsibilities
- Participate in writing high-quality, scalable, and clean code
- Assist the team with technical specifications and unit test cases development
- Take ownership of performing unit testing activities for the better performance
- Communicate with different team leads to determine the product and requirements
- Be accountable to work cross-functionally and create & implement top-notch software solutions
- Make sure to help the team in on-time and top-quality software project delivery
- Motivate the team members to follow the latest technology standards and SDLC best practices
- Contribute to building, maintaining, and improving new and existing web pages, websites, and applications
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Stronghold on system and requirement analysis
- Extensive expertise in popular languages like Java, C#, C++, SQL, VB.Net, etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, .NET programming, and web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, EJB, Spring, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Exceptional skills in frameworks, like Spring MVC, .NET MVC, Hibernate, Angular, etc.
- Experience in implementing SDLC methodologies, data migration, and automation testing
- Exposure to web services, including SOAP and REST
- Prolific experience in using tools, including Eclipse, Visual Studio, SVN, Git, GitHub, RabbitMQ, etc.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Ability to maintain clean and detailed documentation
- Familiar with servers, like Apache, Tomcat, Glassfish, Xampp, Wamp, etc.
- Understanding of Waterfall and Agile development principles
- Great analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills
