Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing a SAAS application that is making it easier for automotive businesses to efficiently implement world-class digital marketing strategies, is looking for a Staff Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of fixing numerous broken or ineffective Symfony and AWS integrations. The company's in-house car merchandising platform and digital marketing services make it simple to comprehend and apply the right tactics, make data-driven decisions, and provide world-class customer support. This position requires a significant overlap with the CST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data, procedures, code, and protocols to detect issues and spot potential improvements
  • For software upgrades and new products, plan, design, develop, and test the software systems or applications
  • Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design by ensuring that the web design is optimized
  • Write robust code, finalize programming, and inspect and fix applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-5+ years of relevant experience as a staff software engineer
  • Solid expertise with Symfony and AWS and the ability to jump into a codebase and start resolving issues
  • Prolific experience working with Docker
  • Some familiarity with Node.js and Angular is nice to have
  • Great collaboration, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
