Job description

A fast-growing healthcare recording platform helping providers improve patient communication and understanding is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The engineer will work on designing, developing, and architecting software applications. The enterprise cloud-based solution is currently used as a premier patient engagement choice for hospitals and healthcare professionals. The selected candidate will gain a unique experience with an opportunity to join a well-funded team of innovators dedicated to improving healthcare. It is a full-time, long-term position that requires a minimum of 4+ hours to overlap with Phoenix, Arizona (MST).

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive product enhancements while maintaining apps from a high level
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks promptly
  • Create tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review, fix and improve products
  • Ensure the software is kept up-to-date with the latest technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Sound expertise with Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency with iOS and Android is a plus
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus
  • Experience with Java and speech-to-text conversion
  • Experience in building complex web systems and software applications
