Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is developing a sports and communication platform with the goal of promoting youth sports participation, is looking for a Software Test Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and fixing problems with software programs. The U.S.-based company offers sophisticated yet simple-to-use solutions to make it easier for athletes, coaches, and guardians to communicate, coordinate, schedule, payment collection, registration, real-time game sharing, etc. The company has managed to secure $56mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take part in code reviews and provide the other team members with reliable input
  • Maintain your knowledge of the most recent web development trends, frameworks, and technologies
  • Participate in the development of software solutions and tackle complex problems
  • Integrate server-side logic with user-facing components created by front-end developers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years of experience working with mobile manual and automation testing (e.g. Appium)
  • 2+ years of work experience with API automation
  • Must be able to think critically and naturally curious about the clients' businesses
  • Nice to have some experience working with JavaScript and QA Thought Leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
