Job description

A well-established OTT platform that is advancing in the sphere of contemporary entertainment with new solutions is looking for a Senior Software Development Test Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for focusing on the best practices in the software development industry. The company's goal is to become the premier video content destination for users on a wide range of devices, including smartphones and tablets. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are eager to work with a team of professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage distributed systems for performance and scale testing
  • Leverage industry worth of experience in testing with distributed and big data solutions, as well as mid-tier caches (Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, etc.) 
  • Build on industry best practices in the software development processes, including Unit testing, object-oriented design, code reviews, etc.
  • Develop with Linux commands and shell scripts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Automation Testing
  • Proficiency in performance and/or security testing will be a plus
  • Solid understanding of building and publishing POCs
  • Good English communication skills
