Senior Software Development Engineer Test

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and manage distributed systems for performance and scale testing
• Leverage industry worth of experience in testing with distributed and big data solutions, as well as mid-tier caches (Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, etc.) 
• Build on industry best practices in the software development processes, including Unit testing, object-oriented design, code reviews, etc.
• Develop with Linux commands and shell scripts
• Utilize advanced coding skills to solve problems at scale

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 
• Core competency in Agile/Scrum development process and some DevOps activities
• Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Amazon AWS, or other similar cloud providers
• Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Skilled with both white box and black box testing and automated testing tools
• Solid foundation in Java/Python and/or any scripting languages
• Profound skills in SQL and scripting, REST APIs, request-response structures, error and status codes
• Track record of developing and implementing backend tools or frameworks to test aggressively on Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, etc.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, REST APIs, and its usage
• Well versed in build release and deployment flow, especially in iOS & Android
• Proficiency in performance and/or security testing will be a plus
• Solid understanding of building and publishing POCs
