Job description

An emerging company building out a matching platform in the surrogacy space is looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer. The selected candidate will help lead the development for building out the MVP while managing a team of talented developers. The US-based company informs, supports, and guides surrogates through the journey while also connecting intended parents with mutually compatible, qualified surrogates. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrate user-facing elements into applications
  • Implement data security and protection within the application
  • Integrate data storage solutions
  • Design and implement reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Python/Django Developer
  • Ability to work with Machine Learning, Mobile, Web Backend, and web frontend
  • Expertise in working with Data Engineering, Data Science, and DevOps technologies
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and ORM libraries
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
