Job description

A leading healthtech company with a passion for preventative health to address and solve problems in a broken medical system is looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer. The developer will be responsible for building the product, writing clean code, formulating more efficient processes, and solving problems that arise. The company is leveraging advanced machine learning to merge DNA analysis, biometrics, microbiome testing, and phenotypic data to deliver the most optimized health blueprint. This is a long-term opportunity that requires at least 2 hours of overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
  • Be involved and participate in the overall software lifecycle
  • Provide training, help, and support to other team members
  • Build high-quality reusable code and manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant Python/Django experience
  • Solid PostgreSQL and SQL experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Nice to have some experience with Redshift 
  • Expertise in multi-database configurations with Django ORM
