Job description

A rapidly-growing company working towards creating an environment of less single-use plastics in the online food delivery industry is looking for a Senior Lead Back-End-Heavy, Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with building robust and scalable architectures for B2C and B2B technology platforms. The company is on a mission to revolutionize the food delivery industry by replacing single-use plastic containers with reusable and recyclable containers. Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect cutting edge technologies with an in-depth understanding of marketplace platforms
  • Code, ship, and build robust and scalable web architecture for B2C & B2B platforms
  • Manage junior developers and assist in the hiring process  
  • Develop and deploy tools to help the operations team manage the incoming customer flow
  • Formulate and refine strategy for delivering authentic experience across all corporate functions 
  • Create a product roadmap in accordance with the user experience 
  • Work closely with UX and product team to analyze and ensure the team is aware of the business needs via OKRs, roadmaps, and constant feedback
  • Continuously refactor applications to maintain high-quality services

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, and Golang 
  • Solid understanding of OOPs and working in iterative development is a plus
  • Prolific experience in front end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS and React 
  • Demonstrable experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and MongoDB is preferred
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based architecture and experience in AWS 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
